Angry client blasts FNB with banner

Is this guy back? A few months ago he tried it and flopped, now he's cashing in on the Cell C guy's publicity...

Was just going to say, he has been around for awhile trying to get a reaction from FNB as I read his website some weeks ago.
Maybe now they will take notice?

After all the CellC issue really came down to CellC having defamed the individual in the form of incorrect credit information.

Would he be able to sue CellC for that now? It would be a great win with the publicity the case has.

In the "Doc 1" in the downloads of rottenbank.co.za:

23.3. At the time of the sale in execution and when your client failed, refused and/or neglected to adhere to their ex lege duty, my client had a contract with Harddrive Solutions, who in terms of a Government tender purchased 125 machines to be utelised in various destinations in Gauteng Province during the FIFA World Cup.

23.4. The profit which my client would have realised from that deal has been quantified in the amount of R736 720 110-00, representing consequential damages, suffered by my client as a direct result of FNB's failure to adhere to their ex lege duty.

He says that losing out on R500k caused him to lose a R736 million deal? After reading that I don't believe any of this guy's claims anymore.

Not really in my view

What he could do though - and it would be a massive public service (and Std Bank might learn this the hard way) is to resuscitate the decree of perpetual silence and force CellC to prove their claim or STFU - when they don't its contempt etc ...

That's exactly what FNB did to my dad. They took him to court even without a single phone call or communication.
When they got there, my dad's advocate told the judge that he had been willing to settle the debt from the start, but FNB had never actually contacted him.
The judge threw the case out and told them to settle it out of court.

The first guy who did this was the Isuzu Bakkie guy who branded his Bakkie and stuck all the service invoices for his newish Bakkie. He then parked it outside the dealer.
I think it's gr8 and the bullies need to be brought to book.

Depends when this happen.. Laws changed if I remember correctly .i.e. In the past the bank would sell to merely recover loss ie if you owed R1 they'd start there and you'd lose out. But gov stepped in and now they have sell at market rate and return sale price - admin of sale - recovered loss. So yah.. Read your loan contract?

This guys property went under auction which means he was not paying the bond repayments. Lets not forget that he is the one who defaulted on his loan, he failed to uphold the contract.

I'm gonna get a red banner with white lettering saying "I know a bank that sucks even more" and drive that around town since this is the in thing to do now.

The pen is mightier than the sword.
He said the bank new about the offer he had. Wonder if there is not auction corruption to come out of this as well.

:wtf:

Taking that amount divided by the 125 machines gives me a profit of R5'893'760.88 :erm:

How big are these machines?

EDIT: Also, I googled Harddrive Solutions and I couldn't find anything. And if Google can't find it, then it doesn't exist :p

Interesting...

Perhaps this is a bit of a jump but I did a co.za/whois on the domain and found this.

“My property was sold on auction on the 10th December 2009 for an amount of R272 000. This whilst I had an offer of R735 000 and the purchaser had provided proof to FNB of the availability of his funds.

Thats normal operating procedure for SA banks though. They're not out to get fair market price but rather to cover their outstanding debt...trying to get full market price is just more costly admin for them (for zero benefit to them).
