So my GF has ANOTHER broken iPhone on her hands. After the last break and she got a new XR I said I'd break up if she didn't get a proper damn case.

So she got a pretty hefty looking thing plus screen protector.

Well she just dropped it and the screen shattered.

Thankfully the SCREEN PROTECTOR IS FINE. ARGH WHAT IS THE POINT

She can't claim again - it's happened too many times.

So please, before I have a heart attack, is there anything out there that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that can actually protect an XR from a 1m drop?

I'm clueless on cases cos I've never dropped my phone so I don't even use one.

Rhinoshield.

You simply don't get better than this.

Have had one on my iPhone 6, my wife has had one on her 8 and I now have one again on my XR.

My wife has literally tried to murder her phone and it's yet to die.

Amazon is cheaper to get it to you door, but don't have the variety that their own site does.

Don't get the tempered glass kak, get the normal impact protector option.

Will cost you about a grand, but that's nothing considering it keeps the phone alive.

There is the more hardcore option with a solid back plate which is what's on my wife's phone. I opted to go without and still got a screen protector style one in the box just to prevent scratching which is nice.

Avoid anything from Muvit they are POSs.... Speaking from experience
