Hi again all
I'm back again with et another query on DSTV, here is my problem maybe you can help me out.
started having problems with my decoder a while back when it gave me a BE1 error. Some internet research showed me that it could be solved else it would have to be replaced, well my decoder had to be replaced. I took it to Multichoice in Randburg and it was replaced with a refurbished unit (yes all their swap out units are refurbished) but this unit gave me problems as well. Anyway, I'm on my fourth decoder and the problem I'm having with it is that I cannot watch a program without it rebooting itself or telling me it cannot connect to the service, the signal is lost, or the channel conflicts with TV1. Signal is a nightmare as only certain channels have good signal, the others break up badly, to the point where the picture is not constant and sound comes through for about 3 seconds. Some channels are just black with nothing on them, no error messages either. Any idea's on what could be the problem? I was thinking that it could be the satellite dish itself?
Thanks in advance
