Agreed, but avoid a huge slew of posts, we should call it "known safe Ford engines". Then again we do run the risk of no posts being made in such a thread.

Not quite sure what this sentence means?

I can imagine some bizarre scenarios:
Are they going to announce that they found the cause of the problem, and are going to fix the smoking wreck and return it to the owner?
The discussion with the insurance company should also prove to be interesting...
 
Imagine if they make DCTs together, the horrible Ford Powersh]t meets the equally horrible VAG DSG :crylaugh:
