Another Kuga on fire. N3 South at London road.

I thought Ford sorted the issue.

Ps: Avoid the area.

saw one in Rivonia off ramp the one time,
was filming from the opposite carriageway, fire was intense enough to set fire to the embankment.

even heard the Tires pop,

Same model I'm driving :erm:

Was taken in for the fix, but lets be honest, they didn't fix it, just added a new component to switch off the engine if it overheats...

That's like putting a band-aid on the problem and hoping for the best.

probably both,

still think its funny in this day and age that cars catch fire,
I'm surprised nobody makes more noise about this internationally.

Ford internationally probably fixed this properly. I'm guessing.

Ford will probably argue that it's because there is sun, and Fords are not to made to drive with sun, they need sprinklers above.

Yeah, because over there the risks of being taken to the cleaners with a lawsuit is far greater.
Not sure though although I think that the local Ford SA bunch are as arrogant as ever..

An eyewitness said: “Smoke was coming out of the bonnet and the car pulled over, and the guy ran out. We watched the car and then pulled around. I spoke to the gentleman that was driving it and he works for Ford, he said he was driving the car on behalf of a customer that was experiencing problems. There was no big explosion but the car is completely burned."

It will get worse in the future. Lithium batteries seems more flammable than petrol.
