Another hunter and her pics!

1.) Does it really matter who pulls the trigger? The owner wants money, the family wants to hunt. Why don't they release your burgers and let you catch them? :p

2.) Do you eat meat? How do you think most meat gets to our plates? Whether you kill the animal or not, you are directly benefiting from its death/murder

3.) Why is a lion beautiful? I thin mice are beautiful, it doesn't stop people from slaughtering them in droves when they become a nuisance. Just because an animal is a predator it doesn't make it more special than any other animal

4.) Most animals wouldn't exist if they weren't owned by somebody, that is the sad reality. If someone takes time and effort to protect animals and run his own ecosystem, he should be able to manage that ecosystem how he see's fit. So if the lion population on his farm grows, are you going to pay more money for him to purchase a bigger farm and more zebras, or allow him to sell a lion as a trophy? Lions like zebras also have an equally good life

This! Lots of Wild Game farms have too many animals and needs culling. No point having lots of animals and no food to feed them right ?

Genetic diversity?
How does killing off healthy animals increase diversity ?
In nature the old, and sick get eaten before the strong and healthy.

A hunting rifle makes no such difference.

Again my point is proven. Instead of saying how much you enjoy the blood and killing you list all the side perks.

It is similar to the rich giving to charity to get a tax break.

healthy animals are killed by lightning, fires, oversized animals, cold, flash floods, choking, etc. just because you're an apex predator doesn't mean you're invincible.

a lion that is hungry won't give you a fair chance if you're camping in your tent in the middle of the veld

I am not saying that apex predators are invincible. What I am saying is killing heathy animals does nothing to improve the genetic diversity. (Unless you actually want a whole herd/pride of sick/old animals)

Its not about having a fair fight. It not having a fair fight, then calling yourself a skilled hunter.

then why kill chickens, cows, pigs, goats, sheep, etc? they're all healthy too? health is not a reason to keep an animal alive, there are plenty of healthy animals out there, some of them are healthy food to the lion.

hunting does take skill, anyone having fired a rifle and gone hunting knows this. and hunting doesn't stop when you pull the trigger, you still have to move the animal and make your own meat, as in the instance of the springbok. just because she is a pretty blonde girl doesn't mean she has a legion of rangers and butchers behind her

lol, of course she skinned it and cut all the meat up herself, of course.

girls can't hunt/cut up their own animal? ;)

we don't know if she did, do you have proof that she didn't? :p

Her face, her teeth, she's american, she's a cheerleader, ....... I could go on for days.

so based on her appearance she can't do that? if you didn't know that she was a hunter you would probably think she wouldn't have it in her to shoot a gun :p

she's probably killed more animals, and bigger animals than you and i have put together :p

Yes, she is too feminine.
Women belong in the kitchen.....
Her teeth are racist white.

Any one else I can offend? :p

From her FB -

“Imagine a Chinese gentleman visited the States to hunt bald eagles in the name of conservation. I needn't say what the reaction would be...”

I'm all for hunting if you do it man to man like those tribal islands hunting whales with spears and little boats.

But to take a gun and then go "hunting" an animal that is constricted to a given space hardly seems like a fair fight to me.

Now if you really used a bow and arrow and went after a lion on foot I would give you credit, but the moment you had the safety of a 4x4 on your side I don't understand where the respect is meant to come from.

AAAH so if Kim Jong-Un decides to pay 1 million to come kill a couple White Rhinos it's ok because you know he paid loads of monies and stuff?

That money could lead to a hundred more white rhinos?

The amount of arrogance in this comment is astounding.

no I am just getting peeeeee'd off by people moaning about not just this girl but hunters in general. Many of those people contribute to inhumane treatment of captive primates thought the cosmetics industry

inhumane animal slaughter in sub standard abattoirs

and pollution from their expensive and unnecessary electronics from a unsustainable life style that leads to even greater suffering of humans and animals alike.

But god damn if that girl just kills one more animal they will bust an artery!

Genetic diversity?
How does killing off healthy animals increase diversity ?

really? you can not figure out just one example for yourself? :wtf:

Here are a few minor examples:

Buying game from other parts of the country (continent)

getting rid of dominant males to breed in younger or diverse gene's

artificial insemination

larger area's of land for more packs of animals

just leaving wildlife in modern reserves leads to a reduced gene pool, especially with lions.
