Another hunter and her pics!

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-07-02/trophy-hunters-banned-from-bringing-home-rhino-parts/5565938

I like this.

Endangered species should not be hunted in the first place, I understand the hunting trade. IT is a source of revenue.
Any thing canned is wrong and people that pay to shoot them should be canned as well.

People that provide canned animals for hunting are greedy more than anything else, They lure these hunters here at huge prices with the promise of a lion kill. When the tourist doesn't get the lion he want his money back and causes bad publicity.

Instead, as it should be get the hunter here at x price. Say the animal is available for hunting but no guarantee is available for you to have the opportunity. If they shoot the animal. X amount is added to the price. ( maybe ask for a deposit of this amount when the booking is done)

But we have greed that comes into play and canned animals are introduced.
At this point no rhino's or leopards should be hunted. As I understand the "How to skin a cat project" are doing well.

Then we come back into our own boarders and we find that some other species are hunted to extinction for muti reasons. How do we expect the world to care about a rhino when we cant get our own people to stop their nonsense?

But Like Africaner said. Just cut up the KNP ( and I assume the other parks as well ) Give it back to the original owners and lets stop wasting our money on conservation. Who cares right?

So who are the original owners ?

The San people ?

Australopithecus africanus ? BTW, the whites are also descended from these people.

How far back do you want to go ?

KNP is a great tourist attraction, it brings some money into the country.

Wasn't me( I should have added a sarcastic smiley ). Just saying what the troll said, and by looking at our political landscape at least 1 000 000 voters agree.

The main issue here is greed. And the fact that it is allowed. We need a minister that cracks down on the people who has canned animals. But this situation is not only a South African thing. We just have countries like Botswana and Kenya that tries harder

I can go ahead and derail this whole thread with the troll's sentiment.

I know all this, I should have used a sarcastic smiley.

In the late 1970s, Kenya banned all hunting and opened up the floodgates for poaching. Since that period, they've lost 85% of their wildlife population. According to USAID.gov, “Seventy-five percent of Kenya’s tourism revenue comes from wildlife tourism.” Draw your own conclusions from the facts. #huntwithfacts #SupportKendall

Where are those people opposed to hunting and conservation now? Hunting FUNDS conservation and forces people to breed for hunting. At least these animal have a life as opposed to never have been born.

Yes.

Same as the drug prohibition thing. Bleeding hearts with impossible ideals stick their noses in and all you have is chaos.

No balance.

Im a bleeding heart liberal and I support hunting. Im actually a pretty vocal supporter. Sometimes you gotta think of new labels cause the ones you are using are taken and dont mean what you think they mean :D

Don't come here with your tendencies!

btw, who did you lose in the war? :p

All alone, or in twos,
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.
And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall.

Dont know about that, I was thinking of this:

Bleeding-heart libertarianism is a libertarian political movement and ideology that focuses on the compatibility of support for civil liberties and free markets on the one hand, and a concern for social justice and the well-being of the worst-off on the other. Adherents of bleeding-heart libertarianism broadly hold that an agenda focused upon individual liberty will be of most benefit to the economically weak and socially disadvantaged.[1]
