New is always better than second hand (ok well 90% of the time) so I would recommend the Mazda 2 . You will stand out leaving a great impression with the Mazda when you meet clients.
*Never buy a sporty vehicle second hand because you never know what you truly get.
*VW parts ain't as cheap as you might think (you can ask anybody on this forum).
*My general knowledge tells me the Mazda would have a lower hijack risk then the Polo
But overall take a weekend and test drive every possible vehicle until you find one that suits your needs .![]()
