Antenna Needed.

Looking to get around 3km range, need antenna to be usuable by both router and wifi card, I have a linksys wrt54g and a netgear wg 311v3.

Where can I find an antenna in the southern suburbs - cape town? Anyone know any companies who are around rondebosch or who deliver?

Ok, so here's my issue now, can i buy a yagi antenna and share it between my linksys wrt54g and my netgear wt 311 v3 wifi card?

How would i go about making both devices use the antenna, what would i need to buy, and is this possible?

Also what kind of range could i get with a yagi, im looking for a 3km link, any suggestions welcome.

the short answer is no - u need to setup the wrt as access point and let the other devices like ur wifi card connect to it
