Gosh I think I better get into the tinfoil hat business
Nothin constructive to say again?
alanf85: Well when you discussing something sensible then yeah I'll have something constructive to say. Claiming CNN is balanced is dodgy enough but to claim they're Pro U.S is '9/11 inside job', 'fake moon landings' and Rosswell aliens' loony
Propaganda and bias arent the same thing..
After that pointless derailment can we get back on topic? Anyone here capable of providing solid evidence of this so called propaganda on CNN?
CNN has been accused of both in this thread, never mind though - examples of bias?
What's wrong with the wikipedia link posted earlier? If it's not good enough for you then post evidence to prove otherwise.
Some conservative observers have claimed that CNN has liberal bias. Critics, such as Accuracy in Media and MRC, have claimed that CNN's reporting contains liberal editorializing within news stories. Former Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, and MRC founder Brent Bozell, among others, have referred to CNN as the "Clinton News Network".[1] Delay has also called it the "Communist News Network".[2] In its early days, CNN was sometimes referred to as "Chicken Noodle News".[3]
Some liberal observers have claimed that CNN has a conservative bias. For example, Media Matters for America has documented several hundred separate instances of what it sees as conservative editorializing during CNN broadcasts.[4] Eric Alterman has noted that many critics on the left view CNN as no more or less biased than most other corporate-run journalism, supporting business interests of its parent company and sponsors, and refusing to question official sources or present perspectives of leftist critics.[5]
Oh yeah its really decisive:
Is it possible for anyone here to have a personal opinion on the matter or do you all just get your opinions and standpoints from other people?
But I just want to say. they didn't understand China, They didn't understand Chinese. They report the news with their color eye and their benefits.
What I want is news without a liberal or conservative bias, just the facts so that I can make up my own mind and sometimes news organizations try to do that for you...
Take the Rev. Wright debacle, I feel that he had every right to practice his "Freedom of speech" in HIS church yet I remember clearly watching AC360 after his video leaked and they were condemning the man from the outset rather than have a neutral dialogue about his statements.
They report the news with their color eye and their benefits.
LOL yes a neutral dialogue over how whities gave the black man aids to oppress and control him![]()
And that's exactly why he should not have received the amount of attention he got, he's Obama's crazy Rev end of story.
LOL of course not what was I thinking. It's not like he was his mentor. Oh wait![]()
