I'm currently with Vox, and my recent experience with them has been a complete circus. I won't go into detail.

In the next few months I want to cancel my Vox account and move to another ISP.

Any suggestions please ?

Thanks for any help.

Best performing network in the country, just saying :).

Which fibre provider are you on? If openserve, you can try a few test accounts.

You wont go wrong with Cool Ideas or Afrihost. Even Websquad is good too.

Stay away from Telkom/MTN/Vodacom/Webafrica.

Wait till I get my hands on that Koema who still sends me spam... Imma go pick up @Pitbull and let him go wild on that poaes.

I was at WebAfrica. Then moved to Vox. Now it's time to move somewhere else.

For peace of mind and not having to give a piece of your mind, I'd say Afrihost. Great products, great service and great support.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Lots to think about.

Yes, openserve.
Hi @Invert0. Hope that you are well.

We can assist you by providing a test account on the Openserve circuit, allowing you to compare your current experience with our network. If you choose to proceed after testing, you’ll benefit from our current promotion offering the first two months free. alternatively you can use the following links to check our latencies to your existing provider- Looking Glass Portal - https://lg.mindthespeed.co.za/ or check out our compare latency page https://compare.mindthespeed.co.za/ with pre defined end points, please DM us if interested,.

Kind Regards

This is never easy to answer as you will never know how many users each ISP have on their books and what ?% is on what line speed.

50% of users are usually happy with their ISP ... the other 50% are not.

Even with your current ISP Vox, you'll find people that's as happy as can be.

The best is to jump ship and try as you did before. ;)

Many times the bad goes hand in hand with a specific area and the FNO

Especially the FNO

Here is how Vox operates-
Any issue with your FTTH it's automatically your fault and your router because you choose to use your own router instead of their crappy supplied (and locked down) POS.
You can tell them that the issue suddenly appeared on day X at time Y and it's still your router according to them.
They cover and side with the FISP.

Hi @Invert0
if you are in the western cape we can also set you up with a Openserve Test account

and if you switch to Krypton Web from your current ISP, you will only pay R399 per month for your first 3 months with us irrespective of your line speed
