I guess this is about a good a place for a kalahari.net delurk as any though I would rather be doing so under happier circumstances --

To everyone who has ordered the Parlatones notebook at R1100, sorry guys but unfortunately there is no way that we supply at that price and in the next little while there are going to be order cancellations coming through for everyone who has ordered. The good news is that we have managed to twist arms where required and we can make the same offer to everyone who has ordered so far and for all the units you've ordered where there are multiples -- R2500 per unit, that's R500 off the special price we were running (and for which we only had a very limited number of units) and R2500 off normal RRP. The email we're sending will contain the details.

I know that this isn't the answer you all want but I hope it goes some way to making up for the disappointment.
