Anyone bought items over $1000?

I'm just curious how much customs would cost if someone were to buy a laptop at around $1000 online even if shipping is free.

I know there's a very good chance customs and courier would also add a fee. Any ideas what could be possible amount?

(Price+10%)+14%

$1000=R13972
R13972+10%=R15369
R15369+14%=R17521

+ whatever handling fee the courier some times charges.
