Anyone From Telkom? Pease Help??

Hi,

I ordered a line about 2 weeks ago and received a SMS stating that the line will be installed on 15/02/2016.

I have already paid R700 deposit and was wondering if anyone on the forum can perhaps assist in getting the line in ASAP as I need it very urgently for business purposes.

Please Help... Anyone????

You must be new to Telkom.

You can consider yourself quite lucky if they actually arrive on the 15th, never mind any earlier.

Wow, that is quite pathetic. so 3+ weeks just to install a line..

You are lucky, I waited almost two months, put in 4 days worth of leave to be home for them to install where they just didn't arrive.

When you try to call the call centre, you wait an hour for someone to answer the phone only for them to actually have no answers other than sorry, try again next time.

I lie not, had a friend that recently ordered on the Friday and they installed the Monday. It's luck of the draw.
 
I have to add that the TelkomZA reps on this forum always bend over backwards to try and help and are really great. Maybe try to PM TelkomZA with your order number.
 
I had a fault open for a month...and then they just closed it without doing anything.

Date logged: 8 January 2016
...twice a week, check status of fault
...each time, still open
...in the hands of the technical department
...7 February 2016: Fault closed on 9 January 2016

Phoned some "high up" dude...he says I must call him when my line is giving issues
...I call him because my line only goes down at night...19:00'ish, when it rains......no answer...try again...no answer...try again...voicemail :\

I wish they'd help their paying customers :(
