Anyone know this error?

Hey guys, everytime i start up Windows Xp, i get this error that pops up:

Windows cannot find... C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\dllview.exe ... Make sure you typed the name....

Anyone know what that means and how to solve it? It hasnt affected anything on my PC from what i can tell but it pops up everytime i enter windows.

BTW: i have run Defrag, Disk Check, Anti Virus/spyware etc..

sounds like your machine has been infected with a variant of something and not cleaned out properly...

search for it in the registry and remove it. Its probably from a trojan that was removed but it sounds like the setting is still in the run reg key.

In the start up list pleasecheck for funnies. Use hijack this and check 04 files and clean them.

Sorry i was typing on opera mini.Well to clean and fix this is what you do.
1-Use hijackthis to scan and look for that file name especially all 04 files. .
2-Use ccleaner and clean the system.
3-Make sure you do this in safe mode(f8 key on startup)
4-Cross your fingers and hope you dont have more crap.

Sounds like the malicious exe has already been removed and now the system can't find the required file at startup. Try use Sysinternals autoruns to view all the startup options, then disable ddlview.exe....
