And his use of punctuation is still very abnormal...sigh

Been pretty much to every eastern City in Canada a few times.
Weather is a killer - biggest obstacle for a typical South African. Loads of immigrants as others mention, even more so than London. they actually encourage immigrants to come to Canada, I saw loads of ads in the subways about the difference programs they offer. Wide open spaces, very peaceful, minimal crime, people are VERY friendly and accommodating.
Even tho its a pretty big place, Ive never had to hire a car. Loads of public transport options, from trains, to subway - all across the country. It is an expensive place to live, but if you make good money it wont be a problem.
Its very much what you would imagine America is like, minus the guns, crime, rednecks, and a fraction of the population.
Quebec looks like a nice city. Only problem is its citizens.
Why ?
If you're going to show the average highs you should also include the average lows for the same time of the year. April, for example, has an average low of 4°c... a Capetonian might find that cold.
It also seems to rain a lot there.
Those frenchie type seperatist bastards are be crazy.
The average low usually happens in the middle of the night, and you aren’t saying that it’s impossible to walk outside at 4°C, are you?
No, what I said was that a Capetonian might find that cold.
Looking at last April's daily temps they experience a significant drop during the afternoon so only revealing the high temps for the day isn't painting an accurate picture.![]()
So egg25May is just being a drama queen? finding something cold and it being impossible to walk outside aren’t the same thing.
I've heard Vancouver has friendlier temps?
Haha never knew Toronto was that rough![]()
Saw the prices :x mad!It does... its the more moderate city. Its very wet though, otherwise its Comparable to Cape Town.
Housing market is a bit f-ed though, way worse than CT
And you think insulting him is wise?
Pro tip - it ain't.
Noun Edit
drama queen (plural drama queens)
(idiomatic, informal) Any exaggeratedly dramatic person.
Been to Toronto before, real #sh*thole place
Most of the year cold, is freezing, can't walk outside at all, and 2 months hot , where the mosquito eats you alive.
Lots of immigrants from Bangladesh and India, as it's seen as easier to get into than the us.
Nanny state of note, smoking even outside is frowned upon
Everything quite expensive, nothing free, not even a shopping trolley at a supermarket, cost 0.25c to take a precious trolley.
But good things are,
Public transport that works quite well, possible to manage without a car quite easily
Close to the us, so shopping in Hamilton or new York State very easy, and border is quite open.
Like anywhere else, good and bad points, never visited Vancouver, so it might be better.
