Anyone lived in Canada before?

I went on a Canadian tour a few years back, Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa. Was for work and don't remember to much as I was quite busy. Do remember it was piss cold, to a point where I though I could never live with that. But the highlighted part, that would make me want to move there. Very few things that annoy me more than smokers, especially the dim witted kind that smokes around entrances.

My brother has moved to Canada more than 10 years ago. He started out in Alberta, but moved to Saskatchewan and is currently looking at moving to British Columbia. That country is his new home, he won’t be coming back. He recently sold his last assets in SA.

The other day on his way to work it was -40°.

Honestly Vancouver might be better, although it rains a lot more,

Canadian weather is a mixed bag though, if you enjoy -18 weather
Where you can't go outside most of the year, and enjoy cabin fever.
And taking off and putting on heavy boots, just to get to your car, then it's great.

As for the smoking, yes I can agree, not everybody likes a second hand smoking, but there it's on another level,
Random people will walk up to you and take the smoke out your mouth,
As you all know, I'm a non smoker, but that's just rude.

But yes good points, at least in Toronto Mississauga Ontario region, you got your go transport busses and trains that take you everywhere, no real need for a car.

So good and bad points as always, like anywhere else I suppose.

Best way op , go take a short holiday there, see for yourself, before a bunch of randoms on the internet influence you too much.

Funny enough, that's illegal there,
Been many attempts, many ended in arrests, I believe there is a RCMP detachment down the river with jet skis who wait to arrest people attempting suicide.
