Oi there matey - don't attribute your muddled thinking to me here now. I might just take offence!

C'mon, Jabulani never said anything like that - quotes man, quotes?? If you can't add something to the discussion, you might as well add nothing.

Capping is not something new - it's becoming a world trend.

I would argue that the world trend is the removal of caps in the face of consumer resistance. "Power Users" Rule!

Oh no - not another one - you think the world trend is the removal of caps - hahah - that's rich, but at least gave me a good laugh.
And as for "power users" Rule! - They are slowing down the internet for everyone else. Did you know that ADSL is a shared service, or is this news too - except off-course if Telkom decides to put us all on a 1:1 contention, which I can guarantee will not happen? 5 years ago when I started using ADSL I was also seen as an “abuser” – telling everyone “wow I downloaded this and that many GIGs - as I downloaded everything possible, but then I got use to the Internet and grew up.

lmao at sh1 - you are completely missing the point that nick333 and jabulani amongst others are trying to make. You merely block out any opinions by throwing insults around. You need to grow up and learn how to argue like a real man!! Give your opinion and let others express theirs. You will not get very far in life by hurling insults at people. Open your mind!!!

SH

In all this growing up that you did while getting "use to" the internet, you no doubt did not have time to get used to english grammer in your grammer lessons.

The reason the internet being as developed as it is is the demand by the "power users" and businesses, otherwise you would still be stuck with your 56k.

Account 1: 74gb (Capped - Was capped @ 39 then magically worked again - TelkomInternet)
Account 2: 68gb (Not yet capped - TelkomInternet)
Account 3: 11gb (Capped - Axxess 10gb Account)
Account 4: 8gb (Not Yet Capped - Axxess 10gb Account)

Why the hell do I have to fork out so much money for my data needs? It infuriates me!!!

oops got all the kiddies, newbies and an english grammer teacher on me now. At the end of the day this whole thing started with me not agreeing that it's fair to blame the 1.4 GIG users instead of the 250 GIG users for the capping fiasco, and I will never agree with that.
These users are sponsering the 250GIG users, while these "I will download anything I see users" are slowing down the internet for others. SInce none of you seems to realise it - ADSL is an shared service not a 1:1 contention, but then most of you seems to be the fat kids I mentioned in my first post.

Well if you have been on the net for only 5 years, I figure that makes you a teenager, which is pretty well kiddiefontein.
:p

Agreed - quotes man, quotes. Have the guts to reason the points here.

And where was that?

Nice chatting with you jabulani, but slow it down a bit - unlike most of you kiddies I have to work now - unfortunately not school holiday for me now. “Die oom moet nou bietjie werk”
If you must know it was in the UK.

Enjoy your day - go out have an ice-cream - break a leg - I'm sure you have better things to do (I hope).

And no – "BT" didn’t cap in those days – but they do now, cause some people have to use the line speeds for work while the selfish ones slow the internet down – you know contention (sharing)?

Ha Ha! this is a funny arguement. I'll have to agree with SH1, how can you blame the person using half of their cap?

Plenty nice affordable uncapped products for sale at BT it seems - about R400pm.

And there I was thinking you sat on myadsl all day!

Nice sidestep with the BT thing by the way - aish, the trap got bypassed! Jabu concedes a point.
:p :p

/Jabu gets back to slowing the whole internet down.
:)

you all messed with my topic....

lemme go find my shotgun!

Ha Ha! Artisan who blamed the person using half their cap of what? Youve obviously come into the thread 10 pages in read sh1 s rantings and missed the point.

But just to save you the trouble of actually having to find out what youre talking about: I blame people using 1.4 gigs a month of fueling Telkoms argument that adsl is meant for surfing and email. Thats how.
