Anyone using Huawei B818 with Rain?

Hi there

As the title says is there Anyone using the Huawei B818 with rain? I would to know a few things so i can decide to upgrade or not.

1. What is the experience since using it and does it give serious improvement to speed out of the box?
2. Does it do carrier aggregation on rain network? & what is the speed improvement with (CA)?
3. Is it worth the upgrade?

I am using it with Rain.

My experience has been very good with this router.

I am a bit cautious to quote an actual figure for the speed improvement with the router as I believe that will depend on which device was being used previously. In my case I was using the TP link MR6400, MR600 and Xiaomi Mi 8 and I can confidently say the B818 outperforms them all.

The B818 does not seem to support Rain CA unfortunately. The router can only aggregate 4X4 MIMO for band 3 and Rain does not have 4X4 MIMO for band 3, hence no CA.

Overall I think it was worth upgrading to this router.

Hi. I'm also thinking of upgrading from a B612 to B818 for using with rain. Did you upgrade? How did it go?
