I’ll give mine to my friend to try (mid December), I did buy him the AirPods 1, he like it, but when removing helmet you need to be careful not to be hurt.

The sound quality is ok, but hearing him talk isn’t that great. The BMW headset that fits in the helmet work much better.

Yeah the normal ones don’t work for anything over 40ish really.

Don’t care much for phone calls, more the noise cancelling factor.

Especially as a replacement to ear plugs at high way speed.

These should also stay in better.

If people think Airpods are overpriced they haven’t seen the likes of BMW or Sena built in helmet units.

They are also very single purpose devices for the money.

BMW and overpriced in the same sentence - no surprises there (used to ride a BMW F800 ST) - such nice gear, sooo expensive.

That's the one thing that worries me - I usually find in ear buds (ie those that fit into the ear canal) uncomfortable

What are your thoughts on Airpods Pro, do you own a pair or going to own it?

The device has been out for weeks and there are thousands of reviews, so your post brings very little to the conversation.

He doesn't offer his own opinions about things.

And yes, it's tedious.

Personally I'd get a pair just to antagonise my kid who insisted on a pair of the previous gen ones for their birthday instead of waiting for the refresh.

Hahaha, there is no more devious genius than a parent saying “I told you so”

But yeah, when these were announced out of the blue I actually felt a bit for the folks who bought the second gen a few months ago.
 
Not AirPods related but there are so many other brands which does a better then the pods
Bose Soundsport, Jaybird X4, Beats, Powerbeats, Sennheiser Momentums to name a few.

Granted some of these are not available here and are pricey, but the sound quality are a million times better then the Airpods

If you want truly wireless and ANC, it's a choice between Airpods Pro and the Sony 1000xm3.

Apologies if the link upset/offended you. I actually watched the video & thought it would add some value as it's not a straightforward review.

I can see this is the big boys thread.

No, I don't own a pair. I am currently using the Huawei FreeLace headphones & they are working pretty well between iOS & Android devices. Not an audiophile but the sound is good, comfort is good & lastly the battery life is good.
 
Just ordered mine. Cannot wait. Was also looking to buy it at duty free in Qatar but they were more expensive than buying it here.

Just means a little wait....
 
Just spent 10 hours from Singapore on the plane and I have to say I’m very happy with them. I’ve nothing to compare them with re the ANC, but it certainly drowns out the hum of the aircraft although you can still hear people snoring etc if listening to speech, but not while playing music.

So comfy as well. I generally don’t wear for over an hour or two as I mostly read on a flight, but I feel like I could wear them for extended periods with no problems.
 
I've heard both and the Sennheisers are still better in all departments. Takealot has them on special.
