"Clones, spamware, app created from templates" is a cover for e real reason.
Apple has decided to punish these developers who didn't upgrade their apps to the 64-bit version, it is a reason.

This move is in disrespect to all users who still use 32-bit devices or/and paid for these apps directly to the Apple. They won't be able to download apps again. It is a serious violation of customers rights, as Apple is blocking installation of apps from a different sources than AppStore and consumer duly paid for these apps. Hopefully US consumer organisation wll take stance on this.

The iOS 11 doesn't support 32bit apps. Developers will have plenty of time to update their apps if they want to.

This is traversing responsibility from Apple. This is Apple who took money from the customers, so it is Apple obligation to allow customers to have access to these apps for which Apple took money. Customers are not allowed to download apps from alternative sources, Apple is the only source.

Not everyone can or want to upgrade to iOS11, so your comment is completely out of basis.

70% of the revenue goes to the developers so how about we agree Apple is only 30% responsible since the developers took most of your money.

Can you prove beyond any doubt that the apps you purchased will no longer be available to reinstall should you not upgrade to iOS11?

Apple is not forcing you to upgrade to iOS 11. If you want to keep your 32 bits apps, stay on iOS 10 and don't buy a new device.

You didn't read my post. If you stay with 32-bit device, you won't be able to re-download apps you duly paid for when Apple remove these apps from the store. This is a violation of consumer rights. If you ignore bell ringing in the next step Apple will start selling devices with a kill switch.

Proof?

This is what I'm saying, why do you need to download them again if you don't update or change your phone for a more recent 64 bits ?

You can keep them provided you stay on your 32 bits device.

So far it was working that way, so it is a proof in my records. Besides, it is not a question to me. Ask Apple whether you will be able to re-download all apps you duly paid for. If they keep silent, you know what is going on.

But you're the one making the claim, ad nauseum, so you prove it.

You reply fast and don't think, really. I say it was working that way till now. If you claim otherwise onus to prove is on you.

Here you go then. The left half of the photo is my iPhone 6 showing incompatible 32bit apps. The right half is a clean iPhone 5c showing the app available for download as a purchased item even though it's no longer available on the app store.

Right, it is a proof indeed. They perhaps made a change to the system in a preparation for removing 40k+ apps from the store. All I need is to be able to download previously purchased items.

Provide proof that it worked the way you claimed

I honestly doubt Apple would infringe their own T&C's, just think of the massive class action coming at them in the US.

And their legal department is far from being clueless.

There are many I see on my Web invoice, but you are a troll, so no...

One example for all others: Atomic Web Browser, very popular. You can't download from cloud even you paid for a full version.
