Apple unveiled their latest iPad today, dubbed the iPad 3, sporting a retina display, a better processor and LTE support.

South Africa did not make the march 23rd list either, so not sure when this will arrive, hopefully sometime in April.

Entry price is the same as that of the iPad2, which is great. Is the form factor the same?

So this is Apples last push to get tablet sales before the other competition hits, not bad but I must admit if given the option right now between an iPad 3 and Windows 8 based Eee Pad Transformer, I would pick the transformer even if the OS is still in beta.

Both actually, with all the Android OEM's they pretty much roll out all through the year and dont rely on a yearly cycle like Apple does, so can come up with similar or better specs before the next iPad, also Windows 8 coming next year January.
