Back on topic:

I've sent an email to Vodacom customer care to ask about the bumpers and they've asked me for more information on the bumper. So it seems like they haven't really been informed about this.

I've sent them some information about it so hopefully they get back to me shortly. Or perhaps they will hold out until after midnight ;)

This is not a self help forum, if you're looking for 100% positive posts I suggest you find one. I have every right to have my say, just as much as you have the right to whine like a little girl.
 
Got some feedback from Vodacom. They said I can go back to the Vodashop I purchased the phone from and they will be able to sort me out with a bumper. Will see if I get time this weekend to go past there and pick it up.

Sounds like vodacom is doing this right,MTN are being the idiots!

What is wrong with wanting what you have been promised?
 
btw i saw a vodacom bumper, basically a cheap piece of rubber, its a not a cover like the one that was available via the bumper case programme :(
 
All I did was download the app with a US itunes account and then get it shipped to a friend in the UK.Did that on the first,got a email yesterday saying it had been shipped and will arrive by the 6th.
 
This weekend I bought what I thought was just a Capdase case for my IPhone from Incredible Connection. When I opened the box it included the case, a screen protector, a stand and a belt clip neoprene type soft cover. All for R149,00. Good deal IMO. Incredible's website is not great. My phone arrived with the rubber bumper thing but I didn't like it.

I wonder if our local Incredible would have stock of those cases
That is the case I want to buy, I had a Capdase for my IPhone 3G as well and it also included alll those things you mention.

I had 2 of those for my iphone 3gs and now have one for my iphone 4,they are great cases :) you can get them from any MTN store I think as well as Look and listen and Vodacom I am sure!
 
Just ordered my cover via the app, shipping to my Sister in Germany....

Says it should arrive by the 18th...

Lets see
 
PS if anyone knows who has stock of the capdase cover in CPT, let me know.. cant find one anywhere...

Picked up a Capdase case from Incredible yesterday, turns out I had to ask for one as they had not unpacked their stock yet. R149

Ok, got a Capdase cover at Look and Listen in Canal Walk... They got stock in yesterday.... R139.00 well spent...

Love this cover.... Screenshield was easy to apply as well...

Now my new phone is nice and protected :)
 
Got a phone call from Vodacom Direct yesterday afternoon. They will be delivering the free bumper case to my house next week sometime. Go Vodacom!
