Apple iPhone 5 unveiled

I'm yet to meet anyone with an S3. I have seen the one X, note and S2 at work, but not he S3. I don't think it means anything though as your small braai does:D. iPhones everywhere though, a guy sold his note here to wait for the iPhone.

That might happen if you're just hanging out with the "creative" bunch.

Where I work, the guy opposite me has a S3, and quite a few on the floor where I sit.

The S3 is a fantastic phone, make no mistake. I compared it with my S2, and it is not much bigger than my phone. Feels incredibly light and the screen makes it possible for my colleague to use Remote Desktop to login to work sites from home. He can't be happier, as it saves him a lot of time and effort.

To make it more appropriate, I would rather have the aluminium iPhone as the shield rather than the all plastic S3 ;)

More reports on the A6. Looks like 2core 2thread as reported, and clocked at 1.02ghz. Early results are extremely promising though - more than 2x improvement over 4S.

Once again the Anandtech hands-on video is worth examining, as they comment endlessly on how much faster it seems.

Looks like they managed to achieve something quite special with their custom chip design. Very low power consumption and relative simplicity but huge real gains in performance.

I'm back :D

Just wanted to say that dual-booting is very much the norm now. Check out xda :)

Not Android/iOS though dude.
Most of the dual boot options are between two different Android ROMS. My HTC HD2 I can dual boot between WP7.5 and Android though. Would love this option on my S3.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. Was he talking about dual-booting iOS/Android?
