Apple iPhone with larger screen incoming: sources

Agree a man bag is not needed for the 4" or 4.3", yet they're not comfortable in my jeans; guess for those more portly people this isn't a problem I.e. bigger pockets :whistling: :D

What we find ridiculous re the monster phones, others love with a passion -- you need only look at the Galaxy Note threads. There's no accounting for taste :rolleyes:

Agreed I mean who wants a phone that forces you to use 2 hands.

At the same time I must admit the curent iPhone size doesnt work for me, but as someone already mentioned, maybe its because I have large hands:

If I try to play a game on my iPhone with 2 fingers most of the action is obscured away from view ruining the experience for me.

I wouldn't mind taller, but I guess to get better battery it could also be marginally wider as long as they make it thinner and push the screen all the way to the edge (throw in some liquid metal and I'm sold)

The game part I agree with, but then again I prefer games on the iPad...
 
I would personally welcome a bigger screen. Although, I still would prefer the same size phone as it currently is. Agh well, whatever they bring out, it will be popular.
 
They might stick with 3.5" and launch this to appease the bigger is better crowd...

Wouldn't say no to a 4" iPhone though...

Borders on the insane... I can actually see it resulting in a big brands bankruptcy one day when the rumors and hype don't match the actual product launch.
 
I'm just saying, it's getting a little old to judge all us Apple users, not all of us agree with everything Apple may or may not have said in the past
In fact, most of us don't even know what they've said, or watch their yearly meetings or whatever....we just like their phones/tablets.

Some Apple users might be obsessed with Apple products, but at least they don't live their lives obsessed with dissing another company at each opportunity they get, whether it be about new tech, patents or whatever.

You gotta ask yourself, who's more obsessed - the people who are interested in owning Apple products, or the ones dissing them over and over and over?

Will not know, as I own and use both iOS and Android , also its in my line of work so communicating about it affects my future development plans, maybe its best you ask someone that only use one platform and not the other ;)

It's really not so much "obsessing". It's more like the a-brigade claiming many things -of which the latest was how impossible and ridiculous anything bigger than 3.5" is.
Now it's "sit back and watch how they come up with the most stupendous excuses on their previous claims" time. OR just flat out ignore what was previously said/claimed.
Just like Elimentals pointed out, when the feature/tech is missing it's not needed. It's only needed when apple says so, not when other people point it out.

Reminds me of those people on facebook, who put up status messages about how fake and pretentious people are. When you then go and look at their photos, all you see are pictures of themselves...photoshopped to death. You kinda' squirm a little inside and think to yourself, "wow, hypocrite much?" It's hilarious and sad, all at the same time.

At the moment I'm rocking the SGS2, but if apple truly comes out with something mind-blowingly spectacular, I have NO qualms moving over, whatsoever. It's just a phone after all.

It's all very amusing :D

EDIT: All that said, no one claims that you are part of the a-brigade, there are a select few on these forums that are though, so it's mostly directed at them. You seem pretty sane for an apple user :p

Come now, don't be horizontally challenged... :) Keeper isn't trolling, he has a point. For every irrational Apple fanboi there is at least another frothing at the mouth uber Apple hating Android user out there.

Not nearly as much Android hate being dished out.

The reason I asked is because of the way he posed his question not aiming it directly at someone, not because of the content.
 
Ya i'm not trolling - I'm just asking whats with all the hate not on Apple, but their users?
So what If I like my iPhone/iPad? Clearly I'm not the only one when I look at Apple's Stock...

It just seems like some are suggesting we all obey everything Apple says and does, simply because we own a few Apple products.

What? because the iPhone had a certain screen-size we all suddenly loved that size and thought it's perfect? Says who?
I didn't buy the iPhone because it had a "perfect screen-size"...lol
I love the SGS2's bigger screen-size! always have!



All i'm saying is stop putting every Apple user in the same bag....
and stop obsessing over everything Apple does - it makes you look jealous. what would you think of me If I followed Androids every move?
