Apple pulls iOS 8 update

Apple released and then abruptly pulled back an update for the iOS software powering the iPhone on Wednesday after users complained of bugs, including one that disabled cellular service

oh lord... more ISP downtime predicted.

We can download and use the internet for anything, but godforbid an iOS update comes out everything grinds down to a halt. Now this is to be repeated. Again.

The updates are fairly small.

Apple really need to focus more on software quality at the moment. My vain hope is that next year's iOS and OS X releases are more like Snow Leopard was.

Well the bugs are very real all the isheep can now forever stop saying ios is not buggy my wife had to actually borrow some random strangers phone in the mall to call me yesterday because her 5s lost network for about an hour and trying to restart it etc didn't solve her problem, when we got home it was working again so we thought the cell tower in that area was the problem.

Thanks for the article MYBB, confirms it's Apples problem and a damn big one to have for a phone!

Anyone remember the old days when you never had to restart a phone?

Had no issues with Ios 8! Only SterKinekor app not working but this is not a loss!

Problem I'm having is that it needs something silly like 7GB to install... I have no idea how to free that up, if only I could pop in a 32GB microSD...

If you install it via your pc you don't need all that space.

Unless you wife was at the mall at 10pm when it came out, she had another issue.

Not really..this update is 1.1GB small.

They're talking about 8.0.1

Yes, apple released a patch like a week after 8 went live. All you iPhone users are actually Apple's unpaid beta testers.

So rude!

On what basis do you call iPhone buyers 'isheep'?
