iPhone 15 Pro gets overheating patch

Apple Inc. rolled out a software update Wednesday to address an overheating issue that plagued some early buyers of the iPhone 15 Pro line.

The update, called iOS 17.0.3, is available as an over-the-air fix in the software update section of the iPhone settings app.

Will see. I've had my 15 Pro since international launch day, and while it gets hot it isn't too bad.
Battery life is really terrible though.

I've recently heard that if a powerbank has less charge percentage than the iPhone, the phone will start to charge the powerbank.

Any truth to this?

I know with phones & USB PD the phone with the higher amount of juice will give off charge, so the same should apply with a powerbank.

Depends on the powerbank.
If the port on the powerbank is OUT only, it will only charge the phone.
If it's an IN/OUT port, then it depends on how the powerbank manufacturer set up the device.

My Samsung Galaxy S4 used to overheat like this randomly too.

I’ve also had mine since international launch day and it has never felt slightly warm in hand and battery life is pretty good.
