To be fair, that's how I answer any call from a number I don't know.

It seems similar to Truecaller assistant and that doesn’t work on Vodacom

I see that although tvOS26 is coming to the Apple TV 4K 1st generation - it misses out on Liquid Glass & iPhone karaoke.

So although it runs the latest greatest update - it lacks Liquid Glass (!), iPhone Karaoke, FaceTime, HDR10+ and VP9 Profile 2.

The 2nd generation - with the same latest software - lacks iPhone Karaoke & HDR10+

The 3rd generation - with the same latest software as the other 2 - can do them all.

I’m wondering what the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation will miss out on when the 4th generation comes out with the same updates software.

Somebody needs to create a matrix of software features missing with each latest fragmented update

You are using a terrible analogy there because cars have manufacturing years and registration years.

And often they’ll be manufactured and released the year before…but referred to by the following year when they hit most of the markets and the majority of year they will spend it in…just like Apple is doing here.

I still think people are way too invested in updates. Companies (Apple, Microsoft, Google etc. ) just do it these days to make people think they get some value for their overpriced devices and make it way more important than it actually is because tech is not advancing as much anymore and nothing ground breaking besides AI has been released these last 5 years.
