Apple September 12th Event

What do you think wil be revealed at the event?

iPhone 5?
iPad mini?
New iPod?

BTW: What time wil the event start? CAT time?
 
iPhone 5 + some new twist with the iPod Touch (sounds interesting). Sounds like there will be two kinds of iPod Touch launched ... two screen sizes with different processors, etc. New Nano will have larger screen.

iPad Mini will - as I understand the chatter - come two months later. Maybe announce on 12th but only available in December.
 
No new iPad will be announced at this event.

The iPad and iPhone are too big to share the stage.
 
I'll go out on a limb: This is the Big Bang: a 4-hour show that refreshes the entire range from the Shuffle to the Mac Pro. New everythings. In fact, it will be so big that they will move up in the alphabet from the letter "i" to the letter "j". Plus the announcement of OS XI "It goes to eleven".

No? Come on. Think different! :)
 
Ja who knows? Maybe we'll see the iFart gas-to-energy conversion kit released for i devices? No more flat batteries.

I don't think there's enough to say about a smaller iPad do warrant it's own event. Nor do I think Apple wants to give the competition another month (or more).
 
Bwana, don't you think the release of the iPad Mini will steal too much thunder from the new iPhone? For Apple the focus must be the iPhone. A smaller iPad is a big deal for consumers.
 
Well they are obviously hinting at a new app of some kind, i wonder what it'll be?

My thoughts too. I also got the impression that what we call iPad Mini might turn out to be an iPod Touch Maxi. Bit we'll have to wait and see. Apple probably feeds the rumour mill with rubbish themselves.

I think Gruber initially proposed it but it makes sense that Apple will launch the new iPad at an event next month along with iPod and iTunes updates, similar to their "music" events they had before.

I don't think it is ready to ship and Apple won't announce it with a shipping date more than a few weeks away. Just my opinion though.

Besides only the Nexus 7 is currently shipping.

Most likely the fact that the screen is taller.

The keynotes usually kick-off at 10am local time, that would make it 7pm our time.

PS. Tim to keep it tight and introduce the iPhone 5 and IOS6
 
Do you guys think that iOS6 will be available for download on the same day or do we have to wait until the iPhone is available in store?

The GM will be released after the keynote with the final a week later with the new iPhone.
