Apple Tv 4k - DSTV Now

Not sure if anyone noticed but i just installed the dstv now app on my apple tv 4k and must say working like a charm!
 
Yip, impressed with it on my ATV4, starts instantly, I have used a number of IPtv packages before and they ALL sucked.
Now they just need to improve the quality of the streams.
 
I dont have any apple devices (only android) would you still recommend the Apple TV 4k or would it run better if I had an iPad or iPhone to use as a remote etc?

The remote function only coming in IOS 12, the remote that comes with device is fantastic. Through don't think you can use airplay from android.

Unlike like android media player etc, the apple tv remote controls the main volume on the tv, not some virtual volume for the device.
 
Anyone else having issues today. App loads but won't populate.
 
Trying to activate Dstv.now app on AppleTV 4K. Get an On-screen Code, but then it says one has to enter the code on now.dstv.com/tv (But the Apple Tv 4K does NOT have a browser) ??? Help, please.

So open it on your phone/tablet or notebook

The Apple TV app produced the code? Use a computer to go to the website. Log in. Enter the code.
 
I’m on the Apple TV 4. Will the 4k make the dstv now app more stable or quicker response?
