Happiness comes from pessimism.
Elaborate please.
Happiness comes from pessimism.
If you go volunteer a bit at an animal shelter-the odd Saturday or whatever-I can almost guarantee you'll start to be happy. Kitties & pups should do it for most folks. Let us know if it works out. Seriously.
How many of you can say that you are happy? I've been waiting for that feeling for long now, even moved to a new country, better money etc, everything I have and have accomplished should make me happy, but never do I get that feeling of waking up and just be like ah things feel good, instead everyday is just the same old sh** and not much motivation every morning when you wake up because you always know what lies ahead through out the day. Everyday I am just living on hope that I can find or do something that give me that "feel good" feeling. Four years ago it was my dream to be where I am now, and I am close to achieving my goals that I set for myself and yet I can't say I am feeling any better to what I did 4 years ago.
So what makes you happy?
I think it possibly has something to do with the guy's location maybe?? Germans are not the friendliest of people if memory serves me right. They walk around with long faces and hardly greet anyone. Could be rubbing off on himNot suffering from depression maybe?

Maybe try and find joy in the little things and hold on to those moments
If you have no expectations, then they're always surpassed.Elaborate please.
The circumstances of our lives may matter less than how we see them, says Rory Sutherland. At TEDxAthens, he makes a compelling case for how reframing is the key to happiness. (Filmed at TEDxAthens.)
Bookmarked, will try give it a watch on Sunday, thanksOP, I stumbled upon this. Disclaimer: I've not watched it yet, but it sounds like a good one.

I don't think Germans are unfriendly people in general, after being here for 6 months, I think they just get sick of the amount of foreigners that come into the country and can't speak the language and then try sponge of their social system, I am dealing with German customers on a daily basis, and they are always friendly with me, and they always try to speak English with me. It's only really the older generations that are uptight.Ja Germans are a bit different but from what I gather it was the same before moving to Germany.
