You seem to forget that the EFF is the reason the DA won in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The EFF are not the enemy so you need to stop treating them like that.

All South Africans need to stand together to overthrow Jacob Zuma: the DA, EFF and even ANC need to find common ground.

It's a new political era and I suggest we all become part of it.
 
Some of us have to work and submit a days leave 2 weeks prior to taking it. So I really enjoy being employed and being able to feed my family so unfortunately will be working on Friday like I do every other day. This enables me to pay exorbitant taxes to pay for Zuma to be our disgracefully corrupt president. What a sick world we live in...
 
Most definitely, am taking another 4 people to join in as well. Whether or not it achieves anything is immaterial, it will show doubters that something can be done

It all depends on your perspective and your definition of a protest vs self-defence and in this case, the police were found wanting.

The EFF may not be our enemy now at the moment, but don't be mistaken, they are not our friends.
What the EFF want for this country is FAR, FAR worse than anything you have seen thus far.
 
Has saturnz not said anything yet about Muslims being expected to march against ISIS and by not doing so implicitly support them therefore those not marching support Zuma?

It has everything to do with it. Perhaps the youth of this country don't know it since they don't know what it was like to have a law system that worked. Or a police force which was effective. Our president and his values has everything to do with it. What you don't know, is that what goes on today has been in planning for many years already and small bits of their plans have been unfolded over the past 15+ years.

You're reaching very far now, implying that people who don't go to the march supports (and even enjoy, in your words) rape, hijacks and murder ;)
 
The excuses offered on here as to the myriad of reasons why people "can't" or "won't" are telling in terms of character.

In my books... an honest "I'm too scared to partake" will suffice. And I will assure you that your fears are valid/rational and more creditworthy than some of the utter shyte spewed to date.
How about when there is a thread in future involving corruption in SA. Or the state of the economy. Or the failing Rand - those with poorly thunk out excuses on here just STFU and hide in your hole.

I can't - wifes birthday on Friday. I'll either be with her or looking after the kids. If there is a round 2 of this, then sure I'll make a plan.
