What makes you think that it's only the "lower class" taking to the streets?
 
marching on friday will sadly not bring about any change. it is like f%rting against the wind...
the only change will happen once we stop paying taxes to a very corrupt government.
 
Please everyone note. The DA will be marching on Friday morning. There will be transport from Alberton at 8am. Anyone willing to join...please let me know so I can see how many taxis we need. Thanks.

Sadly this is the type of thinking that will not help get rid of zuma. Wishing for something greater than a protest is as effective as farting in the wind.
Actually getting off your ar $$ and doing something proactive is a starting point.

This ! And the Employers who are the ones venting their disapproval of the Presidents actions, yet demand for their employee to work on a day set to make a statement against Zuma's actions, that the general public, civil servants, institutions and every working class citizen NEEDS to stand up and be counted to get Zuma Impeached - simple as that ! Why all the OOO's & Freakin AAAHHHHSSSS ????

Our CEO has sent communication that our company is fine with people who decide to use their rights to protest. They need to however just let the line managers know so arrangements can be made. So not all companies are refusing their employees to go March ;)

That is the biggest problem ! We like to moan and complain, and when the opportunity arrives to make a difference and a statement , what do we all do, we hide behind our working obligations ( generally speaking) I am self employed and my time is precious and depend hugely on my daily income that I make, I am prepared to march against Zuma's actions that is causing our economy to crumble ! Soon there won't be any company or business to go and WORK?? If this Friday March is planned properly and all citizens ( EVERYONE, including the bosses that just sit on their a**** and throw out orders) to get up and DO something for a change !

Fair enough. I have the same dilemma. But in the spirit of short term sacrifice for long term gain... Im going. Will catch up over the weekend.

It's us bosses that needs to keep the ship running on Friday :o But I do get your point though, very valid.

Only saw this post now, Fantastic ! We need more of this throughout SA, we can make a difference, we need to stand united.
 
We have people coming in from Australia for meetings so there's no chance in hell that I'll be able to march on Friday.
 
Is there any news on a organized legitimate march for Cape Town?

As long as it's a peaceful affair like the #ZumaMustFall march from last year I'll support and attend it.

The tax revenue loss from the March will be more effective than attempting a tax revolt if you're going to be so passive. If most people don't go to work and therefore not getting for the day coupled with the wider economic impact it will create a hole in tax collection. A hole they can't easily plug.

:) Brilliant :) Still need to know of specifics as where to meet and when, Jhb is sorted as far as I know, what about CP, PE, EL , Durban , and all other major cities and towns? anyone heard anything yet?
