Please critically analyse the public statements of the next ANC leader and SA president, and explain why he has such massive public support.

Theres not one sensible rational person I know that thinks there is a genocide coming. Only people Ive heard the genocide claims from have being the usual (generally old people) die hard racists from around the braai. This is my perspective, call me names or an idiot, but this is the general perspective of most people I live with. /shrug.

This sh$tstorm has been caused by Malema...made lots of people scared.

If it came to it, any attempt at genocide will end in a vicious and bloody war. Black people know it and the Afrikaaner know it. The minority in this country would fight to the death tooth and nail. Nobody wants it to come to that and anybody who does hasn't fully thought the whole thing through. It would be pure madness.

At the moment the only thing that is giving me the willies is the secrecy act that the ANC wants.

However I don't think a genocide is going to happen here in SA.

Thats what they said about Mandela... and Mbeki... and especially Zuma. Theres no logic there. The hysterical right wing are normally wrong on this issue.
 
People have been warning of this genocide for 16 years now, I decided that I'll just live my life and enjoy every day I have to enjoy in this beautiful country.

I've travelled alot and I can tell you now that there's no place like home.

Some days when I'm driving in my car and I feel the warm sun on me and enjoy the view of beatiful trees all over JHB, there's a warm satisfaction that comes over me that no Julius or Zuma can take away from me. Yep, I love this country, it's the most beautiful place on earth and we've come through alot of problems to get where we are now. Things have never been better in SA IMO.
 
I think the point is the moment when either your quality of life is comprimised or there is constant threat of violence/intimidation.

I posted a question to what would convince you that such a threat would occur. What I got was emotional responses that I'm a loony, racist idiot for asking such a question.

See this as a thought experiment. What specific scenario would make you go "oh ****, here be a genocide".

If it's too difficult for you to picture this from your own POV, pretend you where a Jew in Germany in 1938.

I'm interested in knowing at what point people start thinking that a genocide is about to happen.

Nope, you are wrong - nobody said anything like that of any of those.

The issue with JZ was just his corrupt relationship with SS regarding the arms deal (as again in the press today).
