I agree with this (except for the spelling). Although if thinking things through was standard practice in this country (and indeed the world), we would have far fewer problems in the first place.

Dunno, every country has them.... most countries are not undergoing a state of genocide even though they have them.... so how you got from "blue light convoy" to "genocide" is completely beyond my ken.

The problem is, you cannot really see it coming. Sure, in hindsight, everyone should have seen it.

But if you react to each indicator you will become an extreme nutter and claim the world is about to end. Problem is, sometimes the indicator is 100% correct, other times it is a false alarm.

Loads of people left the country when Mandela took power. Nothing happened. Loads of people left when Zuma took power. Nothing happened.

Loads of people will leave the country when Malema takes power. Nothing might happen, genocide might happen. You simply cannot tell. (until it is too late)

You can actually see it coming. People were warned on Germany, Bosnia and Rwanda... problem was no one would do anything about it.
