Article: ANC will lose power: Mbeki

The African National Congress will not rule South Africa two or three decades from now, entrepreneur and analyst Moeletsi Mbeki said on Friday.

“South Africa, politically, is actually quite unstable,” he told Sapa, speaking after delivering an address at Stellenbosch University.

Two or three decades from now this country will look like the Zimbabwe of today.

15.5mill people out of about 50mill living off social grants. Didn't know it was that high. Makes sense now why we are falling further and further behind the rest of the world.

Sigh...

In what way are we falling further behind the rest of the world? We aren't exactly trend setters but for the most part we are keeping up or even exceeding expectations.

Let's hope it's sooner rather than later. ANC run this country like grade 5's - oh wait - that's because they are grade 5's!

Decay takes time

What do you thinks going to happen when SA runs out of drinking water?

When is that going to happen, we are one of very countries that can drink from the tap and seriously it's been nearly 20 years and the people are saying the same things, zimbabwe 2.0, the drinking water will be gone blah blah blah.

You see what i figured out is that negatives can last decades and decades because at some point that negativity will prove correct, it may take a century but it should come true but what i find amazing is the same people who said this country was fked nearly 20 years are still the same people drumming on about it now LOL

The people who say they are planning to leave when the shyte happens but they never leave are so lame, seriously if people are convinced it will go bad they should pack up and leave, i think nearly 18 years is long to have planned the escape :D. For sure we not without our problems but i cannot see zim 2.0 anymore. Malema was removed and that was our biggest threat.

The anc will never lose power, even educated black folk vote for them and let's be honest the majority win elections if they are allowed to vote.

Tshwane election results 2011 - 55% ANC and 39% DA, which was with the new municipalities included that were absorbed.

Now they go and force name changes through...

The other day I overheard some of my black colleagues moaning vehemently about the corrupt police and the councillers and child grant stupidities and social grants being wasted and the paid parking and etolls and and and...

Thats how it sound around the white braais.

Yep, there is no crisis in Zimbabwe (unless you're a white farmer, or white shareholder of a listed company, or a white business owner).

Why are you saying there is no crisis? Theres a big fn crisis now. Just saying people didn't say in 1992 or even 1996 if you want that SA will be a messed up zim 2 (with hyper inflation, low food production and collapsing infrastructure), that played out IN the last decade.
