Article: ANC's Cape Town claim baseless: DA

The ANC's claim that the City of Cape Town does not care about the poor is baseless, the DA said on Tuesday.

"In fact, nothing could be further from the truth," Democratic Alliance spokesman Mmusi Maimane said in a statement.

The ANC are fast losing respect even with their own supporters. Childish stunts like this are shocking to say the least. It seems they will issue a critical nonsensical statement for every statement the DA releases.

I honestly think the DA have a good chance of taking lots more municipalities in Gauteng, but I don't think they will be able take Joburg this time around. They have my vote though, for now, and until they are strong enough to oust the cANCer. Then I will vote for the next underdog. All political parties need to fight for our votes, and we should make them fight hard. A single-party state (like our own, and Zim) never does anybody good, except that fat cats at the top. The rest always suffer.

So vote DA (for now).
 
They so desperate to win back the western cape. Shame. Must be frustrating not to be corrupt in all the provinces.

I agree with this to a point. I wouldn't say vote for the underdog though but I will say that if they do get into power 1 day and they lose the plot somewhere along the line then definitely, people must vote them out. We need to move away from this loyalty to a party because they "liberated" us. That's in the past. We need the best people for the job, at the time, in order to keep moving the country forward and at this point in time that would be the DA in my opinion.
 
So do the ANC care about the poor??? If one had to drive past Zuma's house, I would think not. Wake up people!
