Article: Avatar re-released with new scenes

I saw it twice in 3D... will definitely go again (if my Discovery Vitality will pay for the movie again on re-release). :D

Where can you see it in 3D ? I saw it in IMax at Gateway, but that wasn't 3D - and now IMax is gone as well :-(

And my GF hates SF - and my previous 3 ex GF's did as well ! Do any women like SF ?

They always say they can't stand unrealistic stuff - I say look at a cockroach through a magnifying glass and then tell me what is not realistic.

But it doesn't work :-(

It's a simple argument to counter. All movies are fictional (and therefore unrealistic), whether they're based in fact or not, because they are scripted and played out by actors. Sci-Fi only adds a "scientific" spin to an already fictional world.

In Durban area? I have no idea. My wife is not a big sci-fi fan... but she rather enjoyed Avatar when she finally got around to watching it.

Have you seen the movie Delgo?

Unfortunately not and going by the reviews I'm not too keen. According to Wikipedia Cameron starting working on Avatar in 1994 and Delgo's production started in 1999.

Most women that I know don't argue rationally !

I thought the movie was typical hollywood drivel, entertainment for the inferiors as opposed to art for the superiors. I was routing for the superior human species. Natural selection FTW.

"I see you.." Dumbest movie quote ever lol

I found the movie boring, and a waste of time, at first it felt like a National Geographic documentary mixed in with a bit of Pocahontas. Also the 3D gave me a headache :-(

I liked the movie...but puting it in cinemas for extra 9 minutes? I mean really now. I paid thru my @rse to see it the first time in 3D...definately not gonna do it a second time. But guess you will get people willing to do it.

No doubt this was planned b4 the first release, greedy bastards.

If you wait 4 consecutive years you should get your 30 minutes bonus feature :) If its broken up in 9minute segments :P well.... You get a few more blinks and uhmmmms in this one :) Movies are too expensive these days! :( But entertainment is entertainment nonetheless...
