I asked you last time and you didn't answer, so I'll ask again. Why? Zuma is far from being the only thing wrong with the ANC. He's a symptom, not a cause.
Last time I missed it.
I'm going out on a wing here and I'm assuming that many ANC supporters would be thrilled voting in the DA just as I'd be thrilled voting in a chinese government, not matter how much better they are, I cannot relate to them, this is what saks has said before. It's not a racial thing really, it's a cultural and patriotic thing.
The DA has better policies than the ANC, their answer to BEE is better(most members here don't support it at all, but hey, it's the DA), their approach to spending and security is superior and they have virtually no corruption.
For me personally, Helen isn't a bad person, she governs well, she has a sense of humour, but she makes me grits my teeth whenever I see a news article on her. I don't like their opposition stance, I disagree with Ghoti there, in much the same way satanism isn't satanism but humanism without christianity.
A lot of people vote for the DA because "they're not the ANC". That is like me buying mcdonalds "because it's not KFC". A lot of people who vote DA cannot relate to poorer communities or people who rely on the ANC. Even this thread, it's too much effort to be civil and discuss with saks what he believes and to listen respectfully, so why should anyone listen to us when we have something to say about the DA?
I'm not asking people to go build a ****ing school, but I don't understand why people feel so threatened when they're approached by am ANC supporter. You don't need to have respect for the ANC, but the least people can do is respect someone until they know why they do.
But this is where we come to bitch and moan. We want the country to change, but not really, I mean it's too much of an inconvenience to be nice for 10 minutes and hope sharing ideas or solutions will inspire somebody to change their vote or have the same argument someone else.
CA is for whiners and as I recently found out, people that turn a blind idea to idiotic remarks. A person who says they will vote the ANC gets more flak than someone suggesting kids under 10 should get castrated. Seems we have different priorities.
If people DON'T want to make this country a better place, at least get out of the way of people that do
