"According to Statistics South Africa, in the period between 1993 and 2002, there was a significant decrease in in the number of commercial farming units in South Africa. There were 12 162 less farming units in 2002 than there were in 1993, a decrease of 26%.

The decrease of farming units consequently led to a decrease in employment by the formal agricultural sector by 13, 9%. The Free State Province holds the highest number of commercial farming units as of 2002 stats."

Obviously this trend is continuing.

This is utter rubbish.

The fact that farmers are being targeted is purely because they are the biggest source of money for like 25km around.

Its opportunism.

Farm attacks do not even make up 1 percent of national attacks/murders.

Yes every murder is one too many but these are not racially motivated as many claim and they are not politically motivated either.

Explain why in the EC we have black farmers being murdered and their wives being raped over a few weapons or some liquor from their pantry?

Who is the expert in this thread to claim farmers being murdered is anything other that stealing from the richest guy for the next 10 farms over?
