Article: FIFA happy with SA so far

Soccer's governing body Fifa is pleased with the progress of the World Cup thus far, but says it's too early to give it an all round thumbs up.

Just shows the pessimism in the air when progress reports are being sent on a regular basis to appease sceptics:mad:
Normally FIFA would only give a verdict on the entire tournament at the end, but this being Africa... we need to keep our critics up to date on how we aren't messing anything up as they expect us to:(

Just as the reaction to this positive report indicates the defensiveness in the air emanting from those with hair-trigger sensitivities against any perceived slight, no matter how much they have to "zoom in" to find it.

LOL !! Blatthead is so far on his 'White Guilt' trip he will never criticise South Africa. the spectators could fling cow-poo at the football players and claim its 'Culture' and he will stand by the ludicrous claims.
 
Its amazing to see thousands in CT and Durban step off trains and buses and walking etc.

Well, considering that FIFA lie, why would anyone believe what they say? Or care?

Surely it really matters what we, and the rest of the world, think.
 
This is awesome news.

R13 believe it or not this country does have problems so a report would be needed but thus far things are going along just fine :D.

Been absolutely lovely. Highways are lekka, football matches are packed and full of atmosphere. The ANC have done very well. Pity it will end soon :(.

It will get the thumbs up for sure. Cannot see any reason why it will not continue to go very well.
