Article: Guards pleaded for mercy before protesting mineworkers killed them

Two Lonmin security guards apologised and pleaded for mercy before protesting mineworkers killed them, the Farlam Commission of Inquiry heard on Thursday.

"They apologised but no one listened to them. We just killed them," a police witness identified only as Mr X told the inquiry in Pretoria.
 
And people called us heartless because we supported the police who defended themselves....

Yeah have to say, any last sympathy I had for these miners have officially dried up.

Killing people pleading for their lives, that terrorism right there.

I cannot help but ask what demographic grouping can be applied to such a savage breed of homo sapiens? :confused:

STATSSA should group these separately from now on so we can know how many and what their locations are in order to prevent us from becoming their future victims.
 
Violence of this nature needs to be treated violently. You cannot negotiate a settlement with this type of filth. I guess Barbaric is the most appropriate for a public forum. Although I could think of quite a few other.
 
According to our labour and public order legislation, the murderous workers were well within their rights, and the trampling of the life and rights of others is a minor matter for the state to sort out.

Yes, the police did the right thing to mow them down like the animals they are. Just wish they killed more of them. If you are an animal hunting down and killing other animals, the only way to put you down is often the best way.
