A lot of people compensate by consciously drinking a lot - too much. But yes, to someone that doesn't know that they have to keep themselves hydrated they will probably dehydrate (although to the point of death isn't likely, it is possible). The first time I tried it was at a trance party and I'd been briefed on staying hydrated, I drank over 3l of water in a few hours without realizing.

A pill isn't (and can't be) pure MDMA, as MDMA can't be pressed into a pill without a binding agent. Ecstasy pills usually contain a mix of other things as well, such as speed. You can't weigh a pill and give it a value without knowing its contents.

Pills bump your core temp up by a degree or so. Add a little ass shaking induced sweat and you can run into problems... First time overcompensation is not a bad thing.

Yes, I am fully aware of that...

But in terms of working out what the haul would have been like physically, i'm trying to simplify things somewhat...

If the average pill costs say R60, and weighs 1/8th of a gram, then that R85m would have worked out to 177kgs of pills, or 1.4million pills.

I don't think you can easily hide 1.4m pills in a car...
 
It can even contain small amounts of H but generally they use cheap Barbiturates instead.

Ephedrine, Ketamine, LSD, Cocaine, Heroin... And a whole lot of more. Some don't have MDMA in them at all.
