Article: Mandela's condition is now critical

If he does die in the coming weeks, there is certain to be a full blown state funeral on his birthday.

For some reason I keep reading it as "Zuma visits then Mandela's condition got worse" - as if the Zuma visit was the cause.

Being is hospital for such a long time only to go into critial condition hardly ever ends well.

Looks like this is his last hospital visit. Let the old man go home, back to Qunu. Rather be at home surrounded by family, than in a hospital surrounded by white coats.

You look at this video of his daughter and can't help but to sympathise, maybe empathise, with her:

It must be especially difficult for the, having to deal with the press, the government, the world and us/everybody blaming people, asking questions and invading their privacy. It come with the territory since he is who he is but still you wish her some piece and quiet to deal with the situation.

He's been surrounded by people in white coats at home too.

Timing

One wonders what will happen with Obama and his army of occupation ?

Just in time for the funeral ?
( Put out fires ? )

One wonders about the timing of these things ........

In before the blame game begins after his death as to who was responsible. In before previously unknown long lost offspring come forward with claims to his assets

I think obama has a far too busy and locked schedule that this visit must have been planned months in advance. Unless you are suggesting this sudden turn for the worse in Mandela is some kind of American "encouraged" event?

I have to wonder if he did not pass away already? Now we gradually being told he is getting worse.

It is too well planned.

If Mandela was my father / grandfather, I would not want a media circus for a funeral. I would want something closed off. Have his funeral and a few days later / a week later, announce that he passed away and the circus can start.

Just my opinion. He was a great man - and the only ANC led President that I ever supported - the rest we're all there for reasons other then the welfare of the country.

I'm also thinking the old toppie kicked the bucket already. The presidency/ANC's intimate involvement in this whole sage is a tad worrying

Judging by the number of the murdered, I thought the "UHURU" has already started years ago. I doubt it can get much worse. Mind you, I have been wrong before.
