Article Mistake corrections

Don't be idle - check through the recent posts in this thread.

You know how this works: you make the assertion, the onus is on you to back it up with facts.

Do you really expect them to go through all of the reports just to divine whatever the heck it is you're talking about?

Spit it out. Don't be a pompous arse.

Please reserve this thread for reporting mistakes, thanks.

Well then, please fix your errors when we bother to take the time to do so.
Hear fsckin' hear! It gets MOST annoying when glaring errors have to be re-repeated (no, that's not tautological) because the powers-that-be couldn't be arsed to follow up on the effort WE have made, out of [-]the goodness of our hearts[/-] the aching need to have the egregious errata fixed.

We check the reports in this thread when they are submitted (and ASAP within reason, considering we also have lives outside of our day jobs).

The help in this regard is appreciated - the disrespectful snotty attitude is not.

Despite Jan asking politely to be shown where a mistake remains uncorrected, we have been given sarky comments instead. One would presume that the accuser has a case in point that we could fix.

So I will once again politely ask that unless you have a mistake to report, you keep the nonsense out of this thread. Thank you.

Dear Jan had only to look back 6 posts, or to the top of the page ( at normal forum layout ) to find the mistake I mentioned. Was that too much effort?

Act on what we post and the snotty attitude will become unnecessary. As for respect, well, that might take a bit longer.

About http://businesstech.co.za/news/banking/59969/sa-bank-withdrawal-fees-compared/

There is no such thing as ABSA Basic that I can find on their site:

There is a Absa Transact Account that does exist and most closely matches what is described.

thanks, you're correct the account it the Transact account, under the Basic banking category. The article has been corrected.
