Hawks say they have an airtight case against a South African arrested on terrorist financing charges

Is it somehow too difficult to admit that there's an error that's blindingly obvious - and just go & edit and correct it - or is that too much effort & just the norm for sloppy AI-generated journalism nowadays - Ah fukkit, it's OK as it is... ;)

Mistakes? What mistakes? This is the level of journalism here. It's no mistake.

Here's yet ANOTHER ChatGPT / Grok / OpenAI / Google Gemini grammar & spell-checker boo-boo - this is getting tedious now - is there NO editorial or proofreading done before clicking POST or PUBLISH? If so, why not?

It would prevent these 1st Grader linguistic errors from being posted on a public forum, for ALL to see the ineptitude and lackadaisical attitude to 'journalism'... ;)

So, it's 100,000 of WHAT exactly? Paper clips, warning letters, notifications for municipalities to pay their outstanding debt, etc. etc. ...?

What a clown show LOL

Yet MORE duplicate threads - on exactly the SAME topic - in the exactly the SAME sub-forum - within the last 24 hours.

Please can someone in an senior editorial capacity at MyBB investigate this INCREASING trend of MULTIPLE posts on the SAME topic appearing in the forums - some within MINUTES or HOURS of each other or, as in this case, WITHIN 24 hours of each other.

You need to understand that THAT is not a mistake. It's a strategy.

The pedantic duo
It took a lot of effort for me to earn this badge in the Boy Scouts, way back in the days BEFORE computers existed, so I am DEFINITELY going to make full use of it whenever I can, to spot any linguistic discrepancies in 21st century 'journalism' - when an additional 2 minutes of proofreading could have avoided any embarrassment for those concerned... ;)

Both names been in use since establishment .....

Im not referring to the time of use, I'm referring to the technical name to be used. It is not like SASOL in which it's past technical name was Suid Afrikaanse Steenkool Olie & Gas maatskappy and is now formally SASOL, both names have used since the establishment but the latter was informal and the former technical and proper.

Given the time period in question is obvious that it was referred to as NZASM, unless you believe that Rhodesia was never a country and it was always Zimbabwe. A translation is not a technical and formal term, journalists should know that.
