Groupon explains Windows 8 Pro deal mess

Linkage: http://mybroadband.co.za/news/software/63260-groupon-explains-windows-8-pro-deal-mess.html

3rd Last paragraph / paragraph before the graphic:
Microsoft South Africa further confirmed that the Windows 8 Pro deal offered on the Microsoft website is exactly the same basic product as the products offered by stores like Groupon South Africa and Incredible Connection – with the exception that the Microsoft deal offers a digital copy of the software with a disk.

So iow the M$ deal offers exactly the same as the Groupon et al deal?

M$ Deal: Digital copy of the software with a disk.
Other's Deal: Digital copy of the software with a disk

I suspect a typo.

The Windows 8 Pro that Incredible Connection is selling is the full standalone version with the 32 and 64 bit DVD's in the box and not the Upgrade edition.

Please correct this.

Oh jes, how those pesky homophones perplex you so! And in such an artfully ironic way too, so well done for that. Once again, the article itself is fine but the thread announcement of "Groupon back-peddles on Windows 8 Pro deal" should be "back-pedals", regardless of what they're peddling. :p

Thanks, it's been fixed :)

-sigh- .. okay, for the latest Craigavon nutbar party - the fight against faster mobile broadband article - SW appears not to know that a residence is where you live, and it is residents that live there: "Craigavon residence are battling against Vodacom which wants to erect an LTE tower in the area to provide higher broadband speeds". The same SNAFU got repeated in the forum thread ...common guys! :erm: (yes, that was intentional)

And here's what carelessness of this sort gets you: http://www.businessmasters.co.za/showthread.php/7950-The-fight-against-faster-mobile-broadband - a site that scrapes MyBB and republishes your snafu.
