Why would she endorse DA? DA is half NNP. She opposed the Nats and their policies
Nope, NNP left the DA for the ANC. Sorry mate, your info is incomplete

Yep, their local election campaign a couple of years back was a much better one.The whole "Stop Zuma" was a good example of this type of blunder by the DA...
Why wont you contact those PP activists currently serving in the DA and ask them? Why do you keep ignoring all the PP activists currently leading the DA?
Nope, NNP left the DA for the ANC. Sorry mate, your info is wrong![]()
This is the best post in this thread.
I still don't see an endorsement of the DA by Suzman
oh noez.. facts.Marthinus Christoffel Johannes van Schalkwyk (born 10 November 1959) is the Minister of Tourism in the Cabinet of South Africa.[1] Formerly both Premier of the Western Cape and Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament of South Africa, he was the leader of the New National Party from its inception on 8 September 1997 until its dissolution on 9 April 2005. He was appointed Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism in the South African cabinet as a reward for aligning his party with the ruling African National Congress (ANC)

Yes ANC eventually swallowed what was left off NP, but you can't deny the fact DA is a result of merger between NP and DP
That then is the perception you have chosen. Because most of their stuff has nothing to do with the ANC. You have chosen to stick onto one small part of their message while ignoring the rest.
Then vote for the DA. So they can govern and not oppose. This is not a hard concept to understand. As long as they dont have the power to govern and give people solutions then all they can do is draw attention to the wrongs the ANC are doing. Until they govern, their role is to oppose. They have wonderful solutions. They need the power to implement them. If they dont have power to implement their solutions, then they have to oppose the governing party. That is their job.
i retract what i said. i wanted to go to the DA's facebook page now as i am a member there to give you an example, and while it does address problems it does not always mention the ANC, my mind simply makes that connection when i read the comments and when i think of the bigger picture.
i will vote DA the next electons, i'm just saying i don't agree with some of their advertising
You know she was a card carying member right?

African National Congress Western Cape leader Marius Fransman told the Cape Times the pamphlet, which was part of the "Know your DA" campaign, was a "cynical and opportunistic exercise in propaganda".

I like Suzman because of this:

Just out of interest, how would you all feel if the ANC used the same picture with a quote by Suzman about how wonderful Mandela is and a paragraph explaining that Suzman loved the ANC and an implication that all whites should feel quite at home in the ANC?
The DA should inherit the American District Attorney system to officially represent the people (opposed to government) to prosecute the government’s criminal offences![]()
