He has been part of the system. If his intention was to become the country's president and eventually abolish the apartheid, then I will salute him. But I don't think so.

I don't agree that Mandela sold out. Any lesser statesman yes, but Mandela looked into the same abyss.

All politicians are scumbags, you don't get to be successful as one unless you are willing to compromise and make unpopular decisions for personal and party gains.

I propose from now on that we dig fighting pits instead of building parliament buildings and have a two enter one exit policy for them.
They may use any weapon in the pit that they are willing to stuff into a kids hands to go to war with, that way we will be sure that all wars from now on will be fought and won by tickle fights if there is any wars ever again.
