I detect a whiff of stupid coming from the ANC again.

Maimane dismissed Ntuli's comments as political rhetoric aimed at diverting public attention from the ANC's failings.
"They have no delivery record and are losing credibility. All they want to argue is race," he said.
Attempts to portray the DA as a white party contained the implication that the ANC was therefore a black party, Maimane said.
The focus on race issues showed the ANC had departed from the non-racial principles of its former president Albert Luthuli, he said.

It's a whiff of Swaziland's best. They are inhaling thick clouds of the stuff!
I honestly don't think that the DA are god's gift to SA, but in a democracy you are allowed to have more than one candidate for a position. The electorate should then decide who they prefer. The process is not conducted behind close doors and the decision made based on who bends over the furthest for the emperor.
Public accountability is a foreign concept to the ANC. They will decide who is put into public office.
So two candidates of differing races for premier indicates racial tension?
No, it doesn't actually. It indicates a diverse party which offers equal opportunity for all.
Leader of the province by default is the one to be a premier. This has also happened in DA.
Cool E said:DA should just make decision and stop confusing us.
Yes it does.
Thats cause you cant appoint someone to a position, they have to be democratically elected in. So the leadership cant say, "Well we want X to be premier". The position is open to anyone in the party who wishes to contend it.i think DA is failing to make a concrete decision on who must be a premier.
Uhm, no it didn't. Ivan Meyer is the DA Western Cape leader while Zille is the Premier.
